The five day annual festival aimed at promoting tourism in the state which till now was only popular for the famous Jagannath Temple dedicated to Lord Krishna is being flocked by tourists from around the world. The beach festival is not only witnessing international visitors but also artists therby making it the International Beach Festival. The festival showcases the art and craft of the state along with cuisine and dance. There are artists from the state and also overseas exhibiting their talent.  Around 2500 artists have participated in the festival to perform classical and folk dances.
